New to Rhythm this month are a whole load of releases from Sweden's Nicotine Records. Nicotine describe themselves as "open to a large range of stylistic experiences, from Garage to Punkrock, from Powerpop to Hardrock. Attitude first of all." We like their style! Our picks of the year so far!

Unbelievably, we appear to be half way through 2008 already. What better time, then, to feature a few of our favourite releases from the year so far. A few of the albums that have been on heavy rotation chez Rhythm in the last six months are listed below.
